HISTORIC DAY IN LONDON - and Europe !

Roger and all other Friends in Europe !

We are linking us up to the Congratulation for success and well done
demonstrations for peace all over Europe. Even in Oslo, a small town
(500.000 inhabitants), compared to other european capitals, we had 60.000 in
a demonstration outside our office-window. You can all see the pictures

We send congratulations to all our comrades who protested about the
threatened war on Iraq in such magnificent numbers.

London saw the biggest demonstration in British history - up to 2
million who filled central London. This is a massive leap in the size
of mobilisation and the breadth of the movement. There were 80,000
demonstrating in Glasgow and even 600 on the remote Shetland Islands
north of Scotland.

Belfast had tens of thousands in the biggest such demonstration for
decades. Dublin had around 100,000.
